Aerial Specialists Inc-USA Acquires Parts Inventory of
Wellington Equipment Corporation
Racine, WI: Aerial Specialists Inc-USA based in Racine, WI., announced
that it has acquired the support parts inventory formerly owned
by the Wellington Equipment Corp. of Milwaukee, WI. This acquired
parts inventory supported Wellington's National Rental Fleet of
equipment across the US. Wellington was a Nationally known supplier
of aerial work platforms and construction equipment until it ceased
operations in late July of 2002. This acquired service parts inventory
supports such manufactured lines as: ECONOMY, GENIE, GROVE - MANLIFT,
JLG, MARKLIFT, SIMON, SKYJACK, SKY-TRAK, SKYWITCH, SNORKEL, SQUARE
- SHOOTER and TEREX.
Wellington's support parts inventory will supplement ASI's previously
acquired $ .5 Million Simon - Skywitch acquisition. This previously
acquired inventory supported a wide range of aerial work platforms
manufactured by Simon and Skywitch including its scissors line
to its Milwaukee WI, UK and IRE produced boom lift lines.
According to Company President Craig Ihde, "Our goal is to
maintain steady, debt controlled growth through expansion of our
aerial - access equipment support lines. Acquisitions like these
fit well and complement the synergy of our previous purchases such
as our Fabtek - Hyster purchase along with our "Racine Joystick
Controller" line. Aerial Specialists continues to expand.
We have shown our commitment to the industry by supporting over
75 manufactured lines of aerial/access equipment. Aerial Specialists
Inc-USA is the "Largest Listing" aerial lift parts Company
in the US and has compiled the "Largest Listing Cross Section
Data-Base" for support of the aerial work platform industry."
